Man charged after making threats

Casey Roebuck, 26, of North Lewisburg, was charged with telephone harassment, menacing and criminal damaging after an incident early Saturday morning in East Liberty.


Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office received a report from Ashley Buyer, 26, of 3293 Main St., East Liberty, about 3:30 a.m. She said that her ex-boyfriend, Mr. Roebuck, was making threats against her and her boyfriend.

She reported that the defendant stated he was outside her house and that he had a gun. He also had allegedly broken a window at her home. Deputies searched the area and could not locate the suspect at that time.

However, a short time later, Mr. Roebuck was located driving in a vehicle in the area. During a search of the suspect and the vehicle, deputies did not find a firearm. The defendant was transported to the Logan County Jail.

Driver charged with OVI after injury crash

Bradley A. Stuber, 59, of 7700 State Route 366, Apt. 51, Russells Point, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and was cited for failure to control following a crash at 8:05 p.m. Sunday.

He reportedly was operating an eastbound car on State Route 366 just west of Township Road 94 when he drove off the right side of the road and struck a concrete wall.

The driver and his passenger, Cathy Stuber, 62, of Russells Point, were transported by Indian Lake and Huntsville squads to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of injuries.
