Tate T. Peterson, 22, of 4214 County Road 55, was arrested for inducing panic, resisting arrest and possession of weapons while intoxicated following incidents late Saturday evening and early Sunday morning.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report that the defendant was transported to the Logan County Jail that evening by officers of the Russells Point Police Department for charges relating to operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
He was then released on bond and reportedly went home to his residence.
Deputies then were contacted about 3 a.m. Sunday on reports that Mr. Peterson had a shotgun at his residence and was making threats.
Mr. Peterson’s family members said he then went to Mt. Zion Cemetery along C.R. 55 with the shotgun, and refused to answer their phone calls.
He then went to his sister’s residence in Zanesfield about 6:30 a.m., where he reportedly gave the shotgun to her husband.
Deputies responded to the Zanesfield residence and located the defendant sleeping in the living room. They reported his shotgun was not loaded.
He was transported to the Logan County Jail.
