The United Way of Logan County invites the community to attend the 2013 Campaign Wrap-Up Celebration at 2 p.m Friday, Feb. 7 at The Marketplace, 130 S. Main St.
“With the tremendous support of many, we were able to turn the annual fundraising efforts of two back-to-back campaigns into increases over the previous year’s results,” former Executive Director Jim Donnelly said in a release.
“The combined 2012 and 2013 campaigns provided more than $1.336 million in revenue that remains in Logan County," Mr. Donnelly said.
As previously reported in the Examiner, the 2012 campaign raised about $663,401.
Tara Wagner served as 2013 campaign chairman and Mike Mullins as president. New Executive Director Heidi Reser replaced Mr. Donnelly, who resigned at the end of 2013.
The local United Way supports about 22 non-profit agencies in Logan County.
