It may be cold and snowy out this weekend, but producers of the musical Peter Pan Jr. want to help local residents forget all that as they whisk the audience away to Neverland.

“People can get out of the house and get out of the snow,” Windmill Productions director Becky Engel said. “It’s all about using your imagination.”

The performances — at the Holland Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday — is Windmill’s annual partnership with the Logan County Educational Service Center and features 37 local youths playing the parts of Peter Pan, Wendy, Tinker Bell, Captain Hook, Smee and the pirates, Indians and the Lost Boys.
