Teen driver transported after crash

Morgan Woodruff, 18, of West Liberty, was transported by Quincy EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for possible injuries sustained in a crash about 3:40 p.m. Sunday.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report she was operating a northbound jeep on State Route 235 near State Route 706 when she lost control on the snow-covered road and slid off the left side of the road into a ditch. The vehicle came to rest on its left side.

Damage to the jeep was disabling. No citations were listed with the report.

• Danielle Lump, 21, of DeGraff, was cited for failure to control following a crash about 7:20 p.m. Saturday in front of 5532 W. State Route 47.

She was operating a westbound sport utility vehicle and went off the right side of the road on a curve and struck a ditch, drove through a fence, and struck a barn owned by Jason Rostorfer. No injuries were reported.

Damage to the SUV was disabling.

• Catherine Crouch, 34, of Huntsville, was cited for failure to control after a non-injury crash about 11 p.m Sunday.

She was driving a westbound SUV on U.S. Route 33 just east of State Route 366 when she lost control and drove off the right side of the road and struck a road sign.
