West Liberty-Salem Local Schools’ board approved a new president and vice president Tuesday during an annual organizational meeting.
Chuck Buck was elected president by the board. Kent Eichenauer is vice president.
Committee assignments were made. They include: Steve Lapp and Chris Moell, transportation; Jim Hoffman and Steve Lapp, buildings, grounds and equipment; Mr. Hoffman and Mr. Eichenauer, curriculum; Mr. Moell and Mr. Buck, personnel and faculty; Mr. Lapp and Mr. Buck, finance and audit; Mr. Hoffman and Mr. Eichenauer, athletic council; Mr. Lapp and Mr. Buck, agriculture; and Mr. Buck, representative to Ohio Hi-Point school board.
School board members will be paid $125 for a total of 12 meetings in 2014. They will also be paid $60 for training programs three or fewer hours in length, and $125 for any training that lasts more than three hours.
The next regular meeting is Jan. 21.
