A Kenton man was sentenced to more than three years in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender recently in Logan County Common Pleas Court for a sex crime.
Donald Grant, 34, of Kenton, was sentenced to 42 months in prison and labeled a Tier II sexual offender for gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony.
An April indictment handed up by a Logan County Grand Jury charged the defendant with three counts of gross sexual imposition. He pleaded guilty in November to a single count of GSI.
Other defendants sentenced were:
• Justin Crawford, 27, of Bellefontaine: West Central Community Based Correctional Facility, five years of community control and ordered to pay a $500 fine, court costs, attorney fees and about $8,000 in restitution for burglary and grand theft;
• Christopher Mundy, 32, of Bellefontaine: five years of community control, a six-month driver’s license suspension, family treatment court and ordered to pay a $250 fine, court costs and attorney fees for trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs;
• Kathy Puckett, 29, of Bellefontaine: three years of community control, 80 hours of community service and ordered to pay a $250 fine, court costs and restitution for burglary;
Pleading guilty was:
• Melissa Keeton, 40, of Medway: theft. A presentence investigation was ordered and sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 3.
