Keith A. Brantley, 28, of 1453 State Route 533, Zanesfield, was charged today with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs after a 3 a.m. traffic stop.
He reportedly stopped in the eastbound lane in front of Speedway, 600 E. Sandusky Ave., to confront a witness who was following him. The motorist continued eastbound and was stopped after an officer observed him weaving in the road at Sandusky and U.S. Route 33.
He was stopped in the 2200 block.
Officers report his speech was slurred and he claimed to be out looking for Christmas presents. He also was unsteady on his feet.
He declined to take any sobriety tests.
He was cited for failure to drive in the marked lanes of the road.
• Nicholas A. Smiley, 23, of 213 E. High Ave., was charged Saturday with having physical control of motor vehicle under the operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs statute.
He was found at 3:45 a.m. behind the wheel of a parked and running car.

Kristy and Kyle E. Gantz, 645 Eastern Ave., reported Sunday evening someone pried open a sliding glass door and stole a silver place settings, silver coins, cash, jewelry, a television and prescription pain relievers.
Man faces domestic charge
Charles R. South, 53, of Marysville, was charged with domestic violence after he showed up drunk and started a fight at Kristy Hamilton’s 413 N. Detroit St. residence around 9:10 p.m. Sunday.
