Motorist charged after Sunday crash

Pamela A. Clark, 58, of 428 E. High Ave., was charged Sunday with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and was cited for failure to control after a single-car crash around 1 a.m. Sunday in an alley behind 131 W. Chillicothe Ave.

She was eastbound and her car hit an old utility pole. Her car was disabled in the crash.

Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report the motorist was staggering and could not keep her balance. Field sobriety tests indicated she was intoxicated, officers report. She refused to provide a breath or urine sample.

She was lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Woman snatches man’s wallet

Michael Orahood, 425 N. Elm St., reported at 12:30 a.m. Saturday he was inside Moore’ s Cafe, 111 S. Detroit St., when a named female suspect grabbed his wallet and fled. It contained cash and identification.

• Bill Andrews, 513 Cooper Ave., reported Friday a $400 snowblower was stolen from a shed at his residence.
