4 treated for injuries


Troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a report of a two-vehicle injury crash at 3:05 p.m. Thursday on U.S Route 33 at County Road 57. Teresa Artis, 48, of Rushsylvania, reportedly was operating a northeastbound sport utility vehicle on C.R. 57 when she stopped at the stop sign and then crossed the eastbound lane of U.S. 33. When she attempted to cross the westbound lane, her SUV was struck by a westbound car operated by Sheila Meek, 76, of Dayton. The impact pushed the SUV off the left side of the road. Ms. Meek and two of her passen- gers, Rosalyn Abrams, 76, of Huntsville, and Patsy Watkins, 79, of Belle Center, each was transported by Bellefontaine and Huntsville squads to Mary Rutan Hospital for non-incapacitating injuries. Ms. Artis was transported by private vehicle to the hospital for possible injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
