West Liberty-Salem school board at a recent meeting approved a routine resolution dealing with its building project, and voted to place a permanent improvement levy up for renewal.
Board members accepted a resolution of conditional approval from the Ohio School Facilities Commission for its building project.
The resolution is another part of the school district’s partnership with the state to renovate and upgrade the WL-Salem campus. Total budget for the project is $28.8 million, with the state paying $19.5 million of the total cost.
The school board continues to work through the paperwork process with its architect and the OSFC as it prepares to break ground on the project.
