Heydinger honored at last meeting

Bellefontaine City Schools Board of Education members honored their vice president upon his retirement during their regular rescheduled Monday evening meeting.

Dr. Todd Heydinger has served on the board for about five years, and was presented with a gift from his fellow board members at his last meeting.

“Sometimes people of excellence step up behind the scenes and go the extra mile,” President Joan Haushalter said. “They’re not always recognized, but they deserve to be.

“Todd deserves to be recognized tonight, not just for his service to the board, but also for his involvement with the schools over the past 20 years, volunteering in a variety of capacities with different organizations.”
