Sidney police investigating gas station robbery


SIDNEY — Officers of the Sidney Police Department are investigating a robbery that occurred early Sunday morning at Speedway gas station, 1515 N. Main St., Sidney.

Officers were dispatched to the gas station about 1:35 a.m. on a report of a hold-up alarm. Upon arrival, they spoke with the gas station attendant, who reported that two white men wearing all black clothing including ski masks and gloves had entered the store and demanded money.

The attendant advised that the suspects displayed handguns. The two men then fled the gas station on foot with an unknown amount of money.
