Defendants sentenced to local jail

Two defendants were sentenced to local jail time, and two others pleaded guilty and were granted intervention recently in Logan County Common Pleas Court.

Arthur McKinney, 40, of Russells Point, was sentenced to 60 days in the Logan County Jail, three years’ community control and was ordered to pay court costs and attorney fees for failure to provide notice of change of address.

Lacie Green Jr., 36, of Lakeview, was sentenced to 90 days in the Logan County Jail and was ordered to pay a $250 fine, court costs and attorney fees for possession of drugs, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Brandon Carter and Ashley Ashcraft, each 30, both of Bellefontaine, pleaded guilty to permitting drug abuse. Each was granted intervention in lieu of conviction, including drug counseling and three years’ community control.
