Woman lodged after crash

Angela B. Blackburn, 35, of 2240 Township Road 108, Huntsville, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and was cited for leaving the scene and failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead after a 1:10 a.m. Saturday crash at Main Street and Sandusky Avenue.

Her car was located in the rear parking lot of Waffle House, 1133 N. Main St., and she was found hiding in a nearby tree line.

Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department noted a strong odor of alcohol on the defendant’s breath.

She refused to take sobriety tests and denied she was driving the car.

She was lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Her northbound car hit the rear of another car operated by Charles B. Gerritsen, 46, of Belle Center. Damage was light.

Man faces theft charge

Justyne F. Robinaugh, 25, of 322 Shady Lane Drive, was charged with theft Sunday after he tried to leave Wal-Mart, 2281 S. Main St., without paying for a pack of fantasy game playing cards around 5:45 p.m.
