Nathan A. Cascioli, 23, and his live-in girlfriend, Krista R. Skaggs, 19, of 11539 Chickasaw Path, Lakeview, each was issued a summons for domestic violence after an incident at their home Saturday afternoon.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to their residence about 3:35 p.m. on a report of a domestic dispute. When they arrived, Ms. Skaggs was in the living room crying and Mr. Cascioli had closed himself in the bathroom.
She reported that they had been arguing most of the day over a dispute over heating costs. He had come home and became angry that the temperature in the house was too cold. He reportedly tried to turn up the thermostat while she stood in front of him, and she said he grabbed her wrist, and then her arm and pulled her hair.
Mr. Cascioli said he tried to turn up the heat and she covered up the thermostat. He later tried to leave the residence and she reportedly pulled on the hood of his shirt.
A number of items in the home had been knocked to the floor during the dispute. Summonses were issued to both and then they each left the residence headed to different locations.
Bar incident leads to trespassing charges
Aaron L. Osting, 36, of Ft. Jennings, and Joseph E. Wheeler, 35, of Delphos, each was charged with trespassing and persistent disorderly conduct after an incident Saturday evening.
Deputies responded to Brother’s Bar, 11977 N. State Route 235, Lakeview, shortly after 9 p.m. They spoke with employees, who said the two men had been causing trouble by picking fights and were asked to leave the bar.
They left for a short time and then tried to enter the bar again. The defendants were arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
