Family, Career and Community Leaders of America students, left, hosted dozens of local veterans Wednesday during the Freedom Breakfast at Indian Lake High School. Other events planned locally for veterans in conjunction with Monday’s national observance of Veterans Day that is the 95th anniversary of Armistice Day, include a 2 p.m. Sunday salute hosted by Indian Lake area churches at Indian Lake Community Church, 120 N. Orchard Island Road, Russells Point; a 7:30 a.m. Monday breakfast at Calvary Christian School (reservations to 599-6847); an 8:30 a.m. Monday breakfast at Benjamin Logan High School (information 592-1666); 8:30 a.m. breakfast Monday at Riverside Schools, followed by assembly (585-5981 ext. 430 with military information); 10:45 a.m. Monday flag raising outside Logan County Commissioner’s office, 117 E. Columbus Ave., followed by a ceremony in the Holland Theatre, and a free smorgasbord luncheon at VFW Post 1080; free haircuts at Great Clips, 2222 S.
