Tornado sirens rang out overnight and a couple hundred residents lost power, but Logan County came away from an overnight wind and rain event relatively unscathed.
At press time, 132 Dayton Power and Light Co. customers remained without power, down from more than 230 early this morning.
Logan County Electric Cooperative reports 17 members lost power for a time, but power has since been restored to all members.
Bellefontaine wastewater treatment plant recorded 1.08 inches of rainfall Thursday, while weather spotter Wayne Wickerham of Huntsville reported .68 inches of rain at the National Weather Service observation post.
Tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings were issued beginning about 11 p.m. The last warning expired shortly before 1 a.m.
