Beggars’ Night events rescheduled

Several Beggars’ Night events originally scheduled for Thursday have been set for Saturday evening. But some events went on as scheduled.

Because of the impending storm, Galilee Lutheran Church moved its annual trunk or treat festivities indoors Thursday at the Russells Point church.


Lewistown-Trinity United Methodist Church hosted numerous children and families Thursday for its annual Fall Frenzy, coinciding with Halloween festivities.

Throughout Logan County, with the exception of West Liberty, youths can go door-to-door from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

In West Liberty, the village has set the hours from 5 to 6:30p.m. Saturday.

Also, the Miami Grange in DeGraff has rescheduled its costume party for 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Activities will include games for adults and children, and cider and doughnuts will be served.
