Public pressure probably did as much to get bath salts and synthetic marijuana off the shelves of area convenience stores as a recently enacted state law.

“My understanding was they pulled it off the shelves voluntarily long before the law went into effect,” said Logan County Sheriff Andrew Smith. “And we haven’t heard of any issues since the law went into effect.”
