Eric U. Dawson, 33, at large, was arrested on felony warrants out of Texas around 11:40 p.m. Monday when an officer of the Bellefontaine Police Department spotted him standing outside Moore’s Cafe, 111 S. Detroit St.
He was wanted out of Midland, Texas, for aggravated kidnapping and three counts of aggravated assault.
He was apprehended inside the bar without incident and was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Officers also served in recent days warrants and summonses to:
• Bobbie J. Taylor, 41, of 547 E. Columbus Ave., Apt. 15: failure to appear;
• David E. Taylor, 51, of 547 E. Columbus Ave., Apt. 15: failure to appear;
• Corie R. Anderson, 25, of 309 Plumvalley St.: failure to appear and failure to file and/or pay city income tax; and
• Cherie Yvonne Smith, 28, of 229 Spring Ave.: failure to appear.
Woman faces disorderly charge
Brandy N. Durnell, 27, of 220 Ward St., was charged Monday with disorderly conduct after she cursed at neighboring children who refused to play with her son.
The boy allegedly threw rocks at the other children before heading home to tell Ms. Durnell around 6:15 p.m. She then allegedly left her house and walked down the street yelling profanities at the children.
