Pianist combines stage show, classics

Or envision Mozart playing a piano concerto backwards.

Those are just a few of the tricks pianist Jason Farnham will share with local residents when he takes the Holland Theatre stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

“It’s classical with a twist,” Mr. Farnham said. “It’s a mix of George Winston, my original stuff, Victor Borge with some jazz standards and some original arrangements.

“I’ve also been described as Schroeder from the Peanuts. It’s kind of a mix between all that stuff.”
