Edward E. Mundy, 39, of 868 E. Sandusky Ave., Apt. 241, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct after a reported fight around 2:10 a.m. Saturday at the Pink House, 600 Jay Ave.
An officer of the Bellefontaine Police Department arrived and found upward of 50 people and several fights outside the bar. He began dispersing the crowd.
While doing so, he encountered the suspect confronting three women. He would not stop and was arrested.
He later apologized to the officer.
Man jailed for threats
Norro D. Perdue, 41, of 128 Plumvalley St., was charged Sunday with menacing, resisting arrest and persistent disorderly conduct.
Officers responded to his residence around 11:50 p.m. and found his girlfriend Deanna Joliff and her sister, Melissa Smith. They told police the suspect had been arguing with Ms. Joliff and threatened to kill her while at her 1209 S. Detroit St. residence.
They were able to get him in the car and drove him home.
There he took the car keys and threw them into a neighbor’s yard two times. After the second time, Ms. Smith called the police. She told officers he threatened to hit her.
He resisted and struggled with officers while they took him into custody. He continued at the Logan County Jail and was placed in a restraint chair.
