Three men were arrested for their alleged drunk and belligerent behavior Friday at Woody’s Restaurant, 7838 State Route 366, Russells Point.

Michael A. Steineman, 28, of 9128 Maple St., Huntsville, was charged with assault and persistent disorderly conduct while his brother, Andrew R. Steineman, 26, of 8959 Maple St., Huntsville, was charged with misconduct at an emergency scene and persistent disorderly conduct.

David Kirkpatrick, 38, of 1000 Garfield Ave., Lot 7, was charged with misconduct at an emergency scene and persistent disorderly conduct.

Washington Township Police Chief Rick Core reports he was called to the restaurant around 6:50 p.m.

A party of six consisting of four men and two women were causing a disturbance on the patio after they were asked to leave.

Restaurant owners report the group was trying to dine on food from another establishment and were demanding alcohol service even though it appeared several were intoxicated.

Chief Core arrived and said several of the group were belligerent to him and the staff, continually cursing loudly and challenging the chief.

Officers from the Russells Point Police Department and deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office arrived and the three men were arrested.

Chief Core reports 15 people on the patio agreed to fill out witness forms.
