Halloween

October is once again settling upon Logan County and all manner of ghouls, goblins and other ghastly beings are beginning to emerge from their hiding places as All Hallow’s Eve approaches at the end of the month.

Numerous costume parties, both public and private, are shaping up and the month will culminate with the COUNTYWIDE TRICK-OR-TREAT NIGHT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2 FROM 6:00 - 7:30 PM.

Village officials have announced that WEST LIBERTY BEGGARS’ NIGHT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY FROM 5 TO 6:30 P.M. 

• Trunk or Treat — 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Galilee Lutheran Church, Russells Point.

• Halloween Party at Miami Grange, DeGraff — 7:30 p.m. Saturday, following trick-or-treat; for children and adults, contests, games, cider and donuts served.

• Trunk or Treat — 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, First Church of God, 1000 E. Brown Ave., treats for children, inflatable bounce houses.

• Brookside Haunted Orchard — dark to midnight each Friday, Saturday through Nov. 2, 1555 S. County Road 25, Zanesfield; cost $13 per person or $20 speed pass.
