Defendants sentenced to prison, local jail

Five additional defendants were imprisoned and two others were sentenced to local jail time in other cases recently before Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark S. O’Connor.

• Dustin Harber, 29, of Kenton: two years in prison and ordered to pay restitution for burglary;

• Trenton Mathews, 33, of Bellefontaine: 16 months in prison and ordered to pay restitution and court costs for theft of a motor vehicle;

• John Dunn III, 51, of Bellefontaine: one year in prison for failure to provide notice of residence change as a sex offender;

• Stormi Kiser, 28, of Bellefontaine: 24 months in the Ohio Reformatory for Women for violating her community control. Her original charges were theft and obstructing justice;

• Dustin Krouse, 28, of Bellefontaine: 18 months in prison for burglary;

• Kyle Jacks, 23, of Bellefontaine: 30 days in Logan County Jail, two years’ community control and ordered to pay court costs and attorney fees for obstructing justice; and

• Jeffrey Clark, 51, of Bellefontaine: 60 days in Logan County Jail, five years’ community control and ordered to pay a $500 fine, court costs and attorney fees for two counts of trafficking in drugs.

Pleading guilty were:

• Dana Biggers, 32, of Kenton: forgery; and Daniel Dearwester, 27, of Bellefontaine: complicity to grand theft and theft. Presentence investigations were ordered and sentencing is Nov. 4; and

• Asia Hoffman, 25, of Lakeview: possession of drugs. She was granted intervention in lieu of conviction and must undergo drug counseling and three years’ supervision.
