Teen charged with disorderly conduct

Stacey M. Turner, 17, of 10094 Township Road 29, East Liberty, was charged with disorderly conduct Sunday evening.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to her residence about 6 p.m., and they spoke with her mother, Lynda Carroll.

Ms. Carroll said she had discovered that her daughter had violated a court order to not contact Codey Tevis, 18, of Bellefontaine. She had found electronic communications between the pair.

Stacey had run away from home earlier this month, and was found with Mr. Tevis in Missouri, as previously reported in the Examiner.

Ms. Carroll said her daughter had been verbally abusive toward her and was using profane language. The teen was transported to the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.
