Teen reported missing from aunt’s residence

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the report of a missing teen, Stacey M. Turner, 17, of East Liberty, who had been staying with her aunt in West Mansfield.

Her aunt reported about 5:20 p.m. Sunday that Stacey had apparently left the 139 N. Main St., Apt. 8, residence overnight. Stacey had last been seen about 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

Stacey reportedly had been texting Codey Tevis, 18, of Bellefontaine, the previous evening, and deputies believe that she might be with Mr. Tevis.

Mr. Tevis’ mother said her son soon would be headed to Florida for college, so deputies believe that Stacey might be accompanying him on the trip.

Stacey is described as being 5-foot, 5-inches tall, 135 pounds with hazel eyes and a light complexion. She wears glasses and was last seen wearing black yoga pants, a pink shirt and flip flops.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 592-5731.
