All two-by-fours are not the same, Wes Krabill has learned over the years of picking through stacks of lumber.

Some are straighter and less knotty than others and those are the type he intends to stock at West Liberty Building & Supply, 6506 S. U.S. Route 68.
“I carry only ones and twos,” he said referring to the rating of the materials in his lumber supply. “Contractors don’t want to fight with bad lumber.
“A while back, my sons went into (another lumber yard) at 7 a.m. and didn’t get out until 8:30 because they had to pick through the lumber and the lack of service.”
