URBANA — Four people were arrested Thursday during a search of a Ward Street house that turned up multiple drugs including prescription pills and heroin.
Officers of the Urbana Police Department arrested Richard A. Moore, 58, Tammy L. Moore, 52, Toby M. Brooks, 27 and Cassandra M. Dean, 27, each of 583 east Ward St., following a search of the house about 10 a.m.
Marijuana, heroin, prescription medication, and assorted drug paraphernalia were found in plain view and recovered from the house. It’s believed that at least two children also reside at the residence. A 10-year-old boy was present at the time of the drug raid, police said.
The four haven’t yet been formally charged. However, felony and misdemeanor drug and child endangering charges are pending.
