Korey B. Grandi, 26, of 6189 Township Road 94, Lewistown, was charged with robbery, aggravated burglary, assault, aggravated menacing, resisting arrest and was issued a civil protection order violation following an incident Saturday afternoon in Lakeview.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to meet with Casey Nielsen at 11153 State Route 366, Lakeview, about 12:44 p.m.
Mr. Nielsen reported that the defendant had arrived at the home around noon that day and started banging on the door and making threats to knock down the door and beat Mr. Nielsen.
When Mr. Nielsen unlocked the door to tell Mr. Grandi to leave the property, the defendant reportedly spat at Mr. Nielsen, struck him in the face and then forced him out of the house.
While inside the home, Mr. Grandi reportedly took $40 and house keys from a table in the living room.
Before leaving, the defendant allegedly threatened multiple times that he would kill Mr. Nielsen if he called law enforcement.
Deputies observed redness and swelling on Mr. Nielsen’s arm and to his eye.
Mr. Grandi was located at his residence and was transported to the Logan County Jail.
