Woman lodged for making threats with firearm

Becky L. Napier, 51, of 5691 State Route 274, Rushsylvania, was charged with domestic violence and inducing panic after an incident at her residence about 5 a.m. today.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to her address on a report of a domestic dispute.

Ms. Napier reportedly had been packing items in boxes to move out of the residence when a dispute occurred between her and her live-in boyfriend, Doug Lyons, 57, and two of his family members, who were at the home.

During the dispute, the defendant allegedly brandished a firearm and made threats to shoot at the ceiling. Mr. Lyons was able to get the firearm away from Ms. Napier.

She was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
