Traffic delays, road closures expected for HarborFest

Local law enforcement agencies are gearing up for HarborFest this weekend and announce planned road closures for today.

Main Street from Sunnyside Avenue to Clermont Street will close around 8:30 a.m. Saturday for the entire day.

The Donut Shop will remain open to foot traffic and handicap vehicle travel; Taco Bell and the Dollar Store will be accessible from Chase Avenue; Robbin’s Nest and Rite Aid, just west of Sunnyside Avenue, will remain open to all traffic.

At 10 a.m. Saturday, the Main Street closure extends from Wilgus Drive to Township Road 239 at Midway to allow for parade lineup.

The entire stretch of Main is shut down for the parade at noon. The road will remain open to Jac & Dos.

The Indian Head Road House is accessible from Westview Drive, with parking off Lind Street; no parking will be permitted in front of the business.

At the conclusion of the parade, access to Main Street from U.S. Route 33 reopens immediately.
