Niesha Mundy, 27, of Bellefontaine, was arrested on two warrant for trafficking in crack cocaine while the driver, Mateo J. Rosales, 31, of Bellefontaine, was lodged on a parole violation.

The traffic stop resulted for an investigation by the Logan County Joint Drug Task Force and it continues.

Marijuana and $1,000 were seized from the maroon Chevrolet Impala driven by the male defendant.

A canine unit from the Bellefontaine Police Department conducted a sweep of the four-door sedan and the dog indicated it detected drugs prior to a search of the vehicle.

A trooper of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted the task force in the stop.

Both defendants were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
