Urbana police looking for armed robber

URBANA — An armed robber made off with an undisclosed amount of cash after robbing an east-side drive-thru about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers of the Urbana Police Department responded to Lil’s Drive Thru, 636 Scioto St., on a report of an armed robbery. They describe the suspect as a slender white male between five-feet, nine-inches and six feet tall. He was wearing light colored blue jeans, a dark sweatshirt with “FBI” across the chest, a hoodie covering his head and dark sunglasses.

Police believe the robber fled on foot. The suspect reportedly pointed a handgun at the store clerk and demanded money.

No one was injured.
