BLHS grad completes U.S. Air Force Academy
Some people still don’t know what they want to be at middle age, but Jeremiah King has always known his destiny — the military — more specifically, the United States Air Force Academy, a goal he pushed himself toward throughout secondary school.

The 2009 Benjamin Logan co-valedictorian and son of Kenny King and Robin King, both of Bellefontaine, recently achieved that goal graduating from the academy as a second lieutenant.
“As far back as I can remember, I have always wanted to join the military,” he related. “Graduating from the academy had been my goal ever since I was in fourth-grade. With that focus, all of the courses I took in high school were to better my chances of being accepted into the academy.”
