The DeGraff Village Council approved payment of a USDA loan and the purchase of a phase monitoring system during its most recent meeting.
The total amount of the loan was $36,473, with the village’s share being $24,437. The cost of the monitoring system for the waste water treatment plant was $3,750 through Thompson Electric.
It also was reported that the village grouting sewer project at the south end of town was completed, at a cost of $17,500.
The Streets Committee reported Jason Stewart and Dave Scott both passed their Class II sewer collections test. Their wages were adjusted accordingly.
Fire Chief David Reames said firefighters were measured for new turnout gear. The department also purchased a new SCBA with a face mask at a cost of $700.
A Finance Committee meeting is set for 6 p.m. July 11 and the next council meeting is at 7 p.m. July 16.
