Michael Shrider, 33, of 9530 Lake Breeze Drive, Belle Center, was charged with disorderly conduct early Tuesday morning after an incident at his residence.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to his address about 2 a.m. after receiving a domestic violence call.
They spoke with his live-in girlfriend, Amber Nunguster, 25, who said she and Mr. Shrider had been arguing that evening and he had broken a chair and then left the residence. She said he had been drinking.
Deputies searched the area for the defendant, but they were unable to find him.
Then about 5:30 a.m., deputies responded to the area again after Mr. Shrider had returned home. They located him hiding in an unattached garage and transported him to the Logan County Jail.
A report has been forwarded to the Logan County Prosecutor’s Office regarding possible domestic violence charges related to the incident.
