Holcomb up for parole



Convicted rapist Roland D. Holcomb II, 48, will have a parole hearing in July.

The Bellefontaine man originally was charged with eight counts of rape and two counts of corruption of a minor, but pleaded guilty in July 2001 to two counts of rape involving a male child under the age of 13.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office investigated the case which involves incidents in Logan County and Madison County.

He was sentenced to a maximum of 25 years in prison.

He has served more than 11 years.
