Troopers report Mr. Elliott was eastbound on C.R. 87 when his 1992 Honda Accord went off the right side of the road, struck a pole and overturned onto the driver's side.

The driver was transported by Indian Joint EMS Ambulance District to Mary Rutan Hospital.

Crash reports indicate Marjorie Nash, 85, of Cable, was southbound on U.S. 68 when she attempted to make a turn onto T.R. 190 and her 1996 Ford Ranger was struck in the rear by a southbound 2006 Buick LeSabre.

Ms. Nash and the LeSabre's driver, James Marchal, 79, of St. Paris, were treated at the scene for possible injuries by Macochee Joint Ambulance District personnel.

Mr. Marchal was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
