Emma Sue Schoenberger, 21, at large, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident in the area of Madriver Street and east Sandusky Avenue about 11:40 p.m. Thursday.
She ran from officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department in the parking lot of Village Pantry Marathon, 200 E. Sandusky Ave., tossing a purse she’d been carrying along the way. Responding officers caught up with her in the parking lot at First Christian Church, 215 E. Sandusky Ave.
They also found the purse she’d discarded, which contained multiple items of suspected drug paraphernalia including syringes, a metal pipe and foil with suspected heroin residue.
She was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear to a Logan County drug court, and for obstructing official business.
