He is a son of former Logan County resident Linda Blaine Buffham, who attended elementary school in Huntsville, before moving to Michigan. Mrs. Buffham served in the Army and her husband was stationed in England, where they have lived for many years.
Mrs. Dodd’s nephew is from Grantham, a small town near Lincolnshire, England. The prime minister was raised in Grantham.
Mrs. Buffham was a visitor to Logan County in 2011, and Mrs. Dodds visited her in England about eight years ago. Their visit included a trip to St. Paul’s Cathedral, where the prime minister’s funeral was held.
