National Weather Service monitor Wayne Wickerham of Huntsville reported a two-day total of 3.23 inches and the Bellefontaine Water Department logged 3.1 inches since Wednesday afternoon.
The Logan County Engineer’s Office has closed County Road 60 between county roads 21 and 54 outside Bloom Center. Water also has reportedly overtaken the road on sections of County Road 54 between C.R. 60 and State Route 708; and County Road 32, south of west State Route 47 near the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
The Ohio Department of Transportation had also closed State Route 720 between
U.S. Route 33 and Township Road 239.
Temperatures are expected to hit the mid-50s over the weekend and there is only a slight chance of more
rain, weather forecasters report.
