‘Improvising A Cure’ benefits Relay For Life

The Benjamin Logan Instrumental Music Department hosts a benefit concert at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 11, in the high school commons to raise money for Relay for Life.

“Improvising A Cure,” an informal evening of jazz and food, will feature the high school and middle school jazz ensembles, along with a silent auction, bake sale, 50/50 drawing and a full concession stand.

There is no cost to attend this event, but donations are appreciated. All proceeds will be donated to the Relay for Life.

The middle school and high school jazz ensembles are currently selling “Improvising A Cure” T-shirts for $10, also to benefit Relay for Life.

Order forms are available in the elementary, middle school, high school and central offices. For more information, contact Myles Bowers, high school band director, at 592-1666 Ext. 2506 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
