OSP called to separate 2-vehicle injury crash Wednesday on C.R. 43
Troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a rollover crash on County Road 39 northeast of Huntsville that sent a local woman to a Columbus hospital Wednesday afternoon.
Troopers report Lora Moore, 46, of Russells Point, was driving a northeast bound car on C.R. 39 about 4 p.m. when she lost control and went off the right side of the road.
The vehicle then overcorrected and went off the left side of the road where it stuck and snapped off a utility pole, overturned and struck a tree in the yard of Elis Wrap & Dip Shop, 6349 N. County Road 39, Huntsville.

A passenger in the vehicle, Virginia Hutchins, 51, also of Russells Point, was transported by MedFlight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. She was reportedly not wearing a seat belt.
Reports indicate the driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured. She was cited for failure to control.
The automotive detailing shop's owner said the business and a nearby residence lost power as a result of the crash. Dayton Power and Light crews were called to the scene to perform repairs.
Huntsville Fire and EMS and a BMRT squad assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.

Crash results in multiple injuries
Troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded about 6:25 p.m. Wednesday to a two-vehicle injury crash on County Road 43 at Township Road 198 southwest of Bellefontaine.
Reports indicate Angela Schmiesing, 37, of DeGraff, was driving southeast on C.R. 43 when her vehicle was struck a southwestbound car on T.R. 198 that failed stop at the intersection. The Schmiesing vehicle then went off the right side of the road and struck a road sign, while the car traveled off the left side of the road and struck a stop sign.
Ms. Schmiesing was flown by MedFlight to OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. Her three passengers — two girls, ages 11 and 13, and Cynthia Welch, 55, of Sidney — were transported by Macochee Joint Ambulance District squads with minor injuries to Mary Rutan Hospital.
The car’s driver, Robert Zedeker, 28, of Bellefontaine, was not injured. He was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
All occupants were wearing seat belts. Damage to the Schmiesing vehicle was disabling.
The West Liberty Fire Department and Bellefontaine Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.
