In his six-month tour of duty in Vietnam, local veteran William “Bill” Lee Arnold was wounded three times.
Saturday, as part of the first Vietnam Veterans Day observances in Ohio, Mr. Arnold will be honored during a noon service at the Carnegie Building, corner of Sandusky Avenue and Main Street, for his service.
He will receive a U.S. flag that has flown over the Capital and the Ohio State House.
The ceremony is organized by the American Legion Harold Kerr Post 173.
