City police cruiser struck

A Bellefontaine Police Department cruiser was struck Wednesday morning, deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report.

Car 104, driven by Officer Glenn Newland was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Clint Buck, 32, of West Liberty, in the 4500 block of west Sandusky Avenue at about 7:15 a.m.

A citation was issued to Mr. Buck.

No injuries were reported but further information was not available.
