A defendant was sentenced to local jail time and another to community control for theft-related offenses this week in Logan County Common Pleas Court.
Jennifer Gillman, 34, of Kentucky, was sentenced to 30 days in the Logan County Jail, five years’ community control and ordered to pay a $250 fine, court costs and restitution for attempted grand theft of a firearm and theft.
Danielle Oldaker, 31, of West Liberty, was sentenced to five years’ community control, assigned to the probation incentive program and ordered to pay restitution, court costs and attorney fees for theft.
Pleading guilty were:
• Amanda Thompson, 26, of Bellefontaine: burglary. She was granted intervention in lieu of conviction. She must complete three years’ community control and substance abuse counseling;
• Calvin Carter, 24, of Russells Point: theft. He was placed on the prosecutor’s pretrial diversion program; and
• Floyd Stevens, 40, of Kenton: nonsupport of dependents. A presentence investigation was ordered and sentencing is April 15.
