The Hitmakers are a group of friends who have taken their show on the road for a number of charitable events in Missouri, Tennessee, Martha’s Vineyard and Key West. The “songwriter-in-the-round” format features the artists in an informal setting, sharing the motivations behind their tunes and how they came to be recorded by the stars who made them famous.

Logan County is a stop on the tour thanks to ILHS graduate Even Stevens, who put the group together. He returns with fellow songsmiths Mike Loudermilk, Leslie Satcher, Richard Leigh and Scotty Emerick, who were at the 2012 inaugural show at the Holland Theatre. New to the lineup this year are award-winning hitmakers Beth Nielsen Chapman, Hugh Prestwood and Paul Overstreet.
