Around 150 people attended the Logan County Sheep Improvement Association banquet Thursday at the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center.

Long-time producers and supporters of the sheep industry, Bill and Susan Shultz of DeGraff were named the 2013 honorary members of the association. Mrs. Shultz, who is a former president of the Ohio Sheep Improvement Association, commented they were very touched by this award.
The association recognized the 2013 Lamb and Wool Queen Mary Evans, the 17-year-old daughter of Dave and Sallie Evans of West Mansfield, and Princess Addie Barns, the 11-year-old daughter of Christie Barns and Dale Barns of West Liberty.
The Ohio Lamb and Wool Queen Mikayla Pittman was also in attendance and shared her experiences thus far.
